Gaming board expands self-exclusion program to video gambling
The Illinois Gaming Board, which oversees the regulation of different forms of gambling statewide, announced a change in the agency’s voluntary self-exclusion program for residents that have a problem with gambling.
The Gaming Board said the change is part of a larger initiative to expand and strengthen the self-exclusion program to better serve residents with needs that don’t fall within the program’s focus on traditional gambling, and to provide different and longer-terms for self-exclusion.
The rule change has to be approved by the legislature’s Joint Committee on Administrative rules before it can take effect.
